Privacy

This site doesn't use analytics, tracking or advertising, and it doesn't place cookies on visitors' devices. This page explains what little personal data is involved, and what you can ask of me.

Who is responsible

Ruben Cress is responsible for the personal data described here. For anything about your data, email ruben@rawww.online.

When you contact me

The project form doesn't send or store anything on this site. Your answers stay in your browser until you open your own mail app or Gmail and send the message yourself. If you choose Gmail, Google handles that message under its own terms.

Once you send it, I receive your name, email address and whatever you wrote, such as your project, budget and timing. I use this to reply and to discuss your project, either because you asked me to and it may lead to an agreement, or because of my legitimate interest in answering messages.

I keep these emails for as long as we're in contact, and delete them within two years after that if no work came of it. If we do work together, I keep invoices and related records for the seven years Dutch tax law requires.

Visiting this site

This site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, it processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and keep the site secure. This is my legitimate interest in running a safe, working website. Vercel is based in the United States, so this data can be processed outside the EU; those transfers rely on the safeguards in Vercel's data processing addendum.

Video

The showreel is hosted on YouTube, in its privacy-enhanced mode. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. From that moment, Google receives data such as your IP address and may store information on your device. See Google's privacy policy.

Links to other sites

This site links to other sites, such as Instagram, LinkedIn and GitHub. They have their own privacy policies, which apply once you go there.

Cookies

Visitors get no cookies from this site. The only cookie here is a functional one that keeps me, the owner, logged in while editing.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, and you can object to or limit how I use it. Email me and I'll respond within a month. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
